Sorry, I struggled with where to post this, since it is not about Apple. This is the closest place I could think of... I'm not signed-up for any Android forum.

I am an app developer and publish to both iOS and Android. I use Macs for software development and personal use, as well as iPhone/iPad for personal use. I use Android devices EXCLUSIVELY for app development/test.

I also have a Google Home device in my office. While I have largely drunk the Apple Kool-Aid, I feel the Google Home device does the best job, and I just HATE Siri - I don't use it on any device.

The problem is, one of my test devices (Google Pixel 3XL) responds when I ask Google Home to do something.

I have only been able to PARTIALLY disable it doing that. I uninstalled the Assistant app. I changed the settings that I could find.

But I can't get it to stop popping-up "Your Google Assistant is ready to help you get things done" and offering to turn it on. I do not want to turn it on. I do not want it to pop-up this annoying prompt continually.

Anybody know how to completely disable this?
[doublepost=1564430550][/doublepost]Hmmmm... I don't know why I didn't think of this sooner. I guess I could change the "trigger word" on my Google Home. But.... I'm thinking that that will just change it on every device when logged-in to Google?
