I just installed Jelly Bean 4.2 on my Galaxy Nexus and...WOW...

Along with all the great new features this is ridiculously smooth. 4.1 was a good start with "Project Butter", 4.1.2 improved on this but 4.2 is amazing with the responsiveness of the UI. It's just completely a none-issue now. :D

Looking forward to getting this, going to wait for the ota download

Can the keyboard be set back to how it is in 4.1?, not a big fan of the gesture keyboards

I actually think this is pretty substantial update, maybe even deserving of a new desert name. It seems now Google is just incorporating OEM innovation into stock Android (quick settings, lockscreen widgets).

I suspect we'll be cycled in over the course of today or tomorrow. They likely have measures in place to ensure every device doesn't simultaneously try to download the update. :)

I'm not sure if I should update my Galaxy Nexus to a takju build to have the update that little bit earlier.

It seems that the takju builds are the first to release lately.

Love the new quick settings much better than cm10 variant from the past. Not really liking how much screen real estate is taken from the bottom nav bar on nexus 7. I suppose I'll change the DPI do I really need a half inch nav bar my fingers are not that giant 0_o

You think so? They'd be a lot more useful if you could use them as toggles like with CM10.

I just received my OTA update in Florida. I love the new update, Jelly Bean was amazing and just keeps getting better. It makes me want to go and buy a N10, must resist. :)

It needs to be said:

Quick Settings sucks, and is not what I was hoping it to be. Something like Power Toggle app from the Play Store does it so much better.

All Quick Settings did for me was make it harder to get to the full settings page.

I guess we'll have to wait for developers to make good use of it. I can't wait to try CM/PA/AOKP on my future Nexus 4.

The CM team have already said they'll be "enhancing the Quick Settings"
