Two hours extra standby in a developer preview and with no apps taking advantage of the new APIs related to battery? Very very impressive.

I'm more than pleased with the performance on my Nexus

My Nexus 4 battery wasn't doing too well.

I won't be upgrading this phone till at least next year as well since I was gifted a a new rMBP for school by my parents so I am definitely gonna be holding on to this Nexus 4 for as long as I can now.

I really hope L improves battery dramatically.

So far during my daily heavy use, I'm seeing only minimal gains from 4.4.3/4. Usually at the 3.5 hour screen on time mark I'm below 10%. At 5% the built in battery saver kicks in and my screen brightness drops from 65% to barely visible.

Once the firmware is optimized and we see devs actively use the new L coding, then we may see some significant improvements. Right now though, I'm just not seeing it. At least the battery life didn't get worse!

This is really promising. I enjoy near all-day batter with my Moto X already.

If the specs for the Moto X+1 (2900 mah batter) are true, along with Android L, in theory, the battery life should be incredible. Over a day?

Really excited about things coming together for Android. Some might argue that it's been like that since Ice Cream Sandwich, but I feel like it's really only been this past year (along with the promises of Android L) that they really won me over.

I wouldn't expect losses in battery, after all it's not iOS L
