A new launcher called Action Launcher was just release on the Play store. It seems promising and I was thinking of switching from Nova.

Does anybody have any experience with it? Also what launcher are you currently using?

I went ahead and purchased it to try it out since I knew I could get my money back within 15 minutes if I didn't like it.

I'm still on ICS and running into the same problem those also on ICS are running into
-Widgets not resizing correctly
-Widget icons will stay on the screen and show through the widgets after the widget is loaded on the screen.

I only messed with it for about 5 minutes but I really wasn't impressed. The side app drawer was kinda cool. But, really, I didn't find it interesting enough or different enough to use it over ADWex or Apex.

I agree about the widget resizing, but I expect it to be added soon as it is a new launcher right now. The main thing that interests me is the slide-out launcher. It seems very productive. Were there any other features that you missed?

And it sucks you're still on ICS :(. Which phone do you have?

Stick to the Nova launcher. Every other launcher has bad redraw problems and Nova with customisability plus no redraw lag wins.

I didn't think the slide out launcher was anymore productive than the normal app drawer. You're still dealing with apps in a column in alphabetical order. Action launcher still requires you to click an icon and scroll/locate the app you want to launch.

I played with the settings which were really limited...stuff like number of screens you wanted, hide page indicator.

I have the Galaxy Note I.
