There was a tweak a year or so ago that was pretty unstable, but I'd love to see an improved version for iOS.

I've attached screenshots so you know what I mean. On the Android image, it's the prediction just above the keyboard, same on iOS (created by Sonny D - if I remember correctly).

I don't understand ?
Can you let us know how you got the above prediction ?

Btw you can try touchpal keyboard from cydia (not appstore).

I'm not sure what part you don't understand? It's pretty clear. Also touchpal is nothing like what I'd like, want or need..

Autocorrection Bar. Why don't you want to use that? It's unstable?

Hey bumpy. The original .plist method was a bit jerky. Ill have a look in cydia for Autocorrection bar, though

Ahh gotcha. Well give autocorrection bar a try. It's made by Ryan Petrich so my initial assumption is that its stable. But I feel like I remember reading that he stopped supporting it because he was simply revealing a hidden stock feature that apple decided not to keep in the final public iOS release. The feature was buried in the iOS but for some reason apple decided against using it. And Petrich found it and simply "unlocked" it.

I could be wrong on the details. Give it a shot and report back. I'd love to hear how it goes.

You were too quick for my edit ;)
Doesn't work on iOS 6 - which leads me to think neither will the .plist method. I will be a guinea pig and see what I can do..

I know, old thread. But when I saw the new tweak PredictiveKeyboard, it reminded me of this thread. Looks like this new tweak might do what you need. Not 100% sure as I didn't bother to try it out. But maybe this will help you.
