im looking to switch from the iPhone 6s Plus to a Note 7, but one thing that is holding me back is the email app. On iOS I could search a keyword in a pdf from 3 weeks ago in one of my imap inboxes if I wanted to. In my past androids I could not find an email client that would come close to that kind of functionality. Any suggestions for an android email app that would allow me to search inside old attachments in my inbox?

The only thing annoying about the gmail app is you can't mark all as read or select multiple email to delete. The Samsung mail app allows you to do so but there it doesn't do psd search. I wish there was an all in one solution.

You can - but you select them individually and then bulk delete/mark read. But I'm guessing you mean select a range of emails quickly?

More specifically - instead of opening up the email - you tap the icon next to the email (sender image)

I really.like Cloud Magic, it is cross platform and once you create and account and setup all your mail accounts you only have to log in to your Cloud Magic account on any other device and it adds all your email accounts

Can you use blue mail to search an old excel or pdf attachment for a keyword inside? It's a very important function that I use for business. The Samsung mail app doesn't have this feature.

I use boxer. Its available on the iPhone, so you can try it there first to see if it will work for you.
