I caught that after posting this, my bad. I cannot delete but feel free to have a mod do it. And wow, the hate is strong in here, you guys' Android phones get infected or something?

Slim to none unless you're so naive to allow them to be installed from 3rd party apps stores not Google Play store. Not like malicious apps that Apple are trying to remove from its apps store now.

Bingo, although I believe some apps have appeared in the Google Play store that are malicious, they are removed, but if you manually choose to disable the built in Android security feature to allow apps to be installed from other places or randomly off the net, then more fool you if you get a virus or adware.

Apple's walled garden on the other hand is beginning to crack and infected apps are present now, Apple is working to remove them but it is obvious it's infamous tight app store lock down has now been successfully breached.
