I was following a few people on Twitter and was under the impression it was definitely Android N(o update for you). Nice to see they stepped away from Candy names, unless that means chocolate nougat.

Just wait until next year...desserts or sweet treats starting with 'O'. If you take away the brand names (Oreo), it's a sparse list of choices.

Android O(MG! CANDY!!!!)

Okay.

Nutella sounded better but I guess no licensing agreement with Ferrero to use it unlike Google's deal with Nestlé to use KitKat three years ago. Unless you are British or looked it up in dictionary, nougat has got to the most unfamiliar dessert name to me since Eclair. I knew what Flan and Frozen Yogurt (Froyo) are.

Slim pickings for N since K and perhaps for next year's O if they don't get to use Oreo. Android L and M were very predictable though. I can't wait when Android gets to X in ten years. Google would be stumped and might finally not name it after a dessert. Who knows if Android is still around by 2026 or Google is even updating it anymore.

I can't wait when we get to Android P in 2018. It's like warm apple pie! Mmm! ;-P
