Hi

I want my Moto E android 6.0 to not use any data unless I want it to.

I've done:

• menu>settings>accounts and switched off Auto-Sync data

• Google play>hamburger icon>settings>tap Auto-update apps>Do not auto-update apps

• Motorola share device user statistics OFF

Is there any other options to disable I cant find the check for OS updates to disable or is that covered by 2nd option above.

Thanks

If it's just mobile data to avoid data roaming charges, simply just disable that from the mobile network / data usage settings section and then you won't be using any mobile data ever, but will still be able to use all the apps properly over wifi. The way your doing it you are turning off service but that's a very messy and inaccurate way of doing so.
