Apparently with an update released by google today android is now fully multitouch. Supposedly Google had held out on this previously due to mutual agreements between google and apple.

This battle is gonna get INTENSE! Google really does seem to be out to destroy apple in every way possible... I liked them better as a team :(

That is good news. Now Apple really need to step up to make the iPhone even better for the next release. Nothing like a little fire under their butt to keep improving instead of letting their product go stagnate due to no competition.

...and when the android platform gets flash support as promised this year. :apple: will have to do something about its lack of flash support.

I wouldn't bet on it.

Nor would I. The pressure is mounting but Apple cares FAR more about their own stance than they do about their customer base and prove that on a regular basis. This is simply one example.

Too bad its only for the nexus one, I'm still waiting for it on my droid.
