Is there any way to make apps like B Of A, for example, to show both notifications that come in at a particular time rather that just one? I get two notifications per day for certain apps and the status bar and notification shade only shows one.

Its generally app specific. e.g Whatsapp will only ever show me one notification no matter how many messages I get from any number of people. My email app will show one notification for each email account I'm pulling down (2).

Tinder will show me a different notification for each chat message in different conversations I get, as well as a notification for any matches.

Thanks for the response. But that sucks. There's not an app to change that?

TheScore mobile shows multiple notifications for me in the notification bar. For other apps that show only one notification, once you expand the notifications by dropping down, you will see more info. For WhatsApp, it shows a bit of multiple messages for me.

Thanks for the response. You say "For other apps that show only one notification, once you expand the notifications by dropping down, you will see more info."
How do you drop down? I can't pull the notification down or across with two fingers.

Just touch the notification with your finger and drag it down. If there's more to it, it'll expand and potentially give you buttons, etc. A good example of that is when you get email via the GMail client. Next time you get an email, just swipe it down.

Unfortunately for the BoA app this MAY not be available, since it's at the app developers' discretion about how they want to display notifications. Most choose a single notification as not to spam you with too much crap to swipe away.

Unless something has changed, the app's developers really have a ton of control with how notifications are shown to you. If you want an app to use expandable notifications, or you want an app to update a notification as it is needed then you'll need to reach out to the app's developers and make the request for them to do that.
