Mobile OSs Android Photo gallery apps similar to IOS 7 Photos?

I am looking for a good photo gallery app on Android to browse all of my photos. I especially like that with Photos in iOS 7, I was able to sort thousands of pictures by year and drill down to a specific year and see pictures from a specific vacation. While the stock Gallery app is decent, I am looking for something with more features.

Anyone have some good suggestions?

QuickPic with settings viewed as Gallery (list)

You can change to a white or black background if you like. It can be viewed by ascending/descending name and dates. Can hide folders. And you can also display videos. I dont mean personal videos, but videos of shows or whatever. It will display on the bottom of the list as long as your pix are in the DCIM folder and your videos are under a Videos folder. QuickPic makes a good default video player too.
