So using the Photos app, I will select multiples pics that I wish to delete. Then delete them. Then go to the Bin and delete that too.

Yet, they reappear. Frustrating!

Any ideas please?

You do get this option when deleting in photos, right?

Yep.

I read into it quite deeply and even some of the most Androidy people just struggle to understand the situation.

There is Photos and Gallery. Photos is obviously a part of G+. The auto backup on or off makes no difference.

It's such a weird situation. One of the few issues with Android that actually makes me miss iOS!!

U only asked because I don't have your issue. When I delete from the G+ photos app, they are gone from all online storage and don't return. They remain in my gallery app though until deleted. Gallery is onboard storage though.

While I love the Photos app, its auto-backup is wonky at times. It will still upload all the deleted photos even if I deleted them right after taking the pictures. Other than that this app has a lot of potentials for photo management.
