Have anybody tried this app from Microsoft? It supposedly give the ability to see your notifications, receive calls, and do basic things like reply to messages on your Windows 10 PC linked to your Android phone.

I am trying it, but other than the first setup, connectivity is finicky. Notifications are not showing up on time because the app just seem to be losing connection with the phone, in "refreshing" status all the time. Great idea, but typical Microsoft, implementation doesn't seem to be that well.

Anybody have better experience than me? Maybe can share some tips.

It was works too good for me. I initially had to put Windows Notifications on focus assist, cause I got bombarded with my phone's notifications. Then I selected only the notifications I wanted from the Your Phone app on Windows.

Connection has been rock solid for me.

I will admit, on earlier versions, I had the same issues as you.

The old version was a bit fickle but this year it has really improved and its more than just basic IMO

Notifications appear faster than emails and others

Only time you have to refresh if your doing something specific but notifications always flash up. I don't even think about it now its always on in the taskbar

Looks like it only works with MS Edge browser? I use Chrome but might try this...

It's a system app (called Your Phone), not a browser app. Notifications will pop up on the OS side, and also appear in the notification panel.

Yep..got that...but when I launch it it gives me this window.....and that is as far as it gets after 15 minutes.
I did open MS Edge and made sure i was logged in.

That's weird, I never had to do that.

Is your Windows 10 linked to your MS account? If not, maybe that's why it asks to take that extra step.

Yeah my Win 10 is linked to my MS account and Edge is signed in automatically when I open it.

See there has been an update to the app, no doubt due to the Duo but apps are more controllable

You can have true floating windowed apps on your laptops now :)

I had this Your Phone App on my GS9 but i have a Pixel 4a now. When i transfered my data over to the Pixel from the GS9, the Your Phone app loaded on it.... but the app wouldnt hook up to my PC.

I had to uninstall it, and download it again on my phone. I had to go to the app store on my Windows PC and click launch and it synced together. I dont use the MS Edge browser on the PC, i use Chrome. Shouldnt make a difference.
