The Angry Birds Halloween theme has been updated and now includes a Christmas theme as well. Free update for Halloween owners. Enjoy!

Interesting. It's a countdown to Christmas, with 1 level per day. I can't play level 2 until tomorrow. :(

Yeah, not sure I like this either. But I guess it will encourage me to actually go for 3 stars instead of just passing each level as fast as I can.
 
I really dont get it because I won't be playing this game much. I mean, after I'm done with finals and am on winter break, this game will go by the wayside. It sucks that I wasted money not knowing I was going to be limited to a level a day especially when they are so easy..

There's also the Halloween levels you can play on it. And probably Valentines or St. Patty's or whatever they come out with next.

I won't be surprised if I have to pay for those either. The Halloween app of Angry Birds was a lot of levels compared to the "season's" app. I don't seem them updating with more levels for free.

It's only letting me play the first level as well, which breaks the "Advent calendar" theme on the level selection screen... but it's a free game so I can't complain! :p

??? I don't follow. The "Seasons" app is an update to the Halloween app. It was free for everyone who already bought it when it was the Halloween app. They just did update it with more levels for free.

I didn't have the Halloween app and was able to download Seasons for free. It seems to be free for everyone.

(NB: I'm using Android but I don't expect it to have a different charging model from iOS).
 
Halloween Converted?

From a guy who deals with apps, this 'update' to the Halloween version is strange to me. Essentially it replaces the Halloween version which is now integrated into the 'seasons' app. Why is this a prob you might ask? Well if your a geek like me...You might want to have all the apps angry birds has developed. The whole product line per say. What you have now is a Halloween version that is not purchasable. Why they wouldn't leave it active and collect year round from different applications is strange to me. Rankings don't really matter as long as they have a flagship app. on top. If anyone has different point of view I'm all ears.

Err... is it just me, or is it impossible to play a level that you've not already done when offline (and with a really clumsy error message)?

Love it, nice touch having 1 a day, better than any advent calendar i've ever had, lol.


Personally i would have liked the extra levels/ themes to be extra in-app purchases, so they would have been extra chapters within the original angry birds shell so to speak, leaving the need for only 1 icon on the home screen. Kinda like buying a boxset rather than individual DVD's.

But either way, as long as they keep em coming, that's fine by me!

If it were released as a separate app it would hardly be worth $.99 (at least not compared to the regular game), and there would have been A LOT of complaints and poor ratings due to the lack of content.
 
It is the 4th, but when I hit that level, it tells me 19 hours. That's not right.

EDIT: Never mind. You have to quit the game. All is well.
