Is it possible to keep my saved game from Angry Birds for the iPhone and transfer them to Angry Birds HD for iPad? I just bought an iPad and would really love to be able to do this. I almost have 3 stars in every level and would hate to start over again. Some of the levels are so frustrating!

I don't think so since they are separate games. Unlike some of the programs I have bought which work on both iPhone and iPad the Angry Birds HD program I bought on my iPad didn't transfer to my iPhone.

Wow. That really sucks. Is Angry Birds HD worth buying when I have the iPhone version?

Does having 3 stars in every level get you anything? Can't you enjoy a game and not be pissed because every level doesn't have 3 stars.

Can't you just leave the guy alone and let him enjoy the game the way he wants?

To OP, don't buy the HD version. The iPhone version works fine and still looks great.

Thank you. If I just stay with the iPhone version how do I keep my saved game? I synced angry birds to my iPad and its starting over as a fresh game. I try to restore from backup but it doesn't let me select the iPhone backup as an option.

No, not at all. It's a complete rip-off. They should have just built the iPad version into the iPhone version, it'd have been easy, but they wanted to tripple the price for iPad owners.

Ha ha true about the girls.

btw, think of this as a second opportunity to hone your Angry birds skills. At least it gives you something to work towards with the game since you already beat most of it.

I have been trying to get 3 stars on each level and it has given me a purpose to play the game again.

BTW, I just use the iPod Touch version on the iPad, sure the graphics aren't quite as sharp but I'm not paying the "big bucks" for the HD version.

Fun times.

Both games aren't even from the same developers, Angry Birds for iPhone is from 'Clickgamer.com' and Angry Birds HD is from 'Chillingo Ltd'
