Uploaded angry birds and other games (cut the rope) from my iPod touch and when I opened it on my iPhone all the levels I cleared were erased and I had to start over....Anyway to restore all my old accomplishments?

Phone is not jailbroken so only way to transfer data is paying? I'll pass

Who cares about the price there's hundreds of levels I dont feel like going back and having to beat them again. This type of info should transfer over when switching devices. Very silly problem to be having

I think so I synced my iPod to iTunes then synced iPhone to iTunes. Is there another way?

I have this issue too. I may jailbreak later, but I don't want to do that right now. I'm hoping an easy way to transfer game data is found soon though.

Your save files don't transfer between idevices yet. Maybe when Apple gets their cloud services rolling they will. Anyway try using the free app "Bump" to transfer Angry Birds from your iPod to your iPhone. It may copy your save files.

You don't need to be jailbroken to take advantage of this, though it would make the process a little easier.

Use iPhone Backup Extractor in conjunction with iPhone Explorer.

How do you restore your iPhone from your iPod backup?

You were first given the option to do this when you were able to do the first sync with iTunes. I think if you reset all data and settings on your iPhone (make sure you back up first), it will give you the option to sync for the first time when you reconnect your iPhone. It will give you the option to create a new "profile" or restore data from the backup of a previous device.

I tried restoring from the backup of my iPod Touch and all the buttons were placed in really weird places. The "Phone" button was no longer one of the four items in the primary row of icons at the bottom. I ended up just doing a clean, new sync instead.

@Josb0411,
You don't know your luck, you just earn the chance to play it again. I just finished Angry Birds, with three stars in all levels, I have to wait for level 14 to open.
