I downloaded and played Angry Birds lite, and it was blurry. Is Angry Birds identical to Angry Birds lite? Because, cheap as I may seem, then I don't want to pay for it.

This game is so much fun that I really don't pay attention to "graphics", looks good enough to me. It's an awsome value for $1.00 I mean, you'll spend several times more for lunch today just to poop it out in few hours
It's not the price, it's just that I want all apps on my phone to look crystal clear.

I think the game looks perfectly fine on the iPhone 4. It's a freaking dollar, and it's easily one of the best games you can get on the iPhone.
Really? Don't sweat the graphics. The gameplay is sublime. I actually skipped Angry Birds HD on ten iPad because it cost $4.99 and I already had the $0.99 version on my iPhone. I play it more on the iPad scaled up to 2x and really the graphics aren't an issue.

I know, I re-read my first post and noticed that. What I meant was, I don't want to pay for anything that isnt up to par with the retina display (dont want anything for free either...).

I have Angry Birds and don't consider the graphics BLURRY - I also have it on my iPad (not the HD version either mind you) and also don't consider it BLURRY.
Is it razor SHARP - no... But puhleassse. Blurry? No.
One of the biggest upgrades on the iPhone 4 is the SCREEN people. When the resolution was posted, everyone was like "OMG!!! LOOK, BETTER SCREEN", "OMG RETINA DISPLAY#&$^*(&^#@(*$&^@#()$*&^@#$."
What is the point if none of these apps utilize the screen?
With that said, I don't really like Angry Birds, but most apps need the "graphics" update, because they are definitely blurry, so are the icons. But it's something I can live with. Who knows maybe because of the iPad, they can make up to par images that are used in both iPad and iPhone apps.
If iTV or ATV is going to run iPhone Apps, good luck with that.

Agreed. I deleted most of the games without the retina update from my phone, but Angry Birds stays because it's just that awesome.
You don't want anything for free
Some of the best apps are free. I presume you don't mean the free apps such as the FB or twitter ones.
Many games I can see not updating for retina in the near future due to budget, but these devs have made millions off angry birds alone, they can afford to do the retina update.
Especially because they already have all the graphics in an HD version because of the ipad game.
