This game came out in April, and its still the top game app in iTunes for the iPad?? Same goes for Scrabble, Plants vs. Zombies, Flight Control...is there nothing else? Very disappointed with these developers. Going into July, and still the same crap. Let's not forget...Veggie Samurai or Shadow Candy Sugar Rush...WTF?

Umm.. Doodle Jump has been in the top 5 on the iPhone now for what.. 7? 8? 9? even 10 months now?

it came out long before april. that was the update that added levels. I had it fully plaid and deleted before the update came out.

I love agree birds! Such a fun game with lots of challenges. I say it's number one for a reason.

Whilst I totally loved playing Angry Birds, and was the 1st game I payed for and downloaded EVER

And I kept playing it every night till I got to the end.

Note: This was only 4 weeks ago.

I understand it was a hit on the iPhone before this.

And whilst is was/is an excellent game, I also agree, that I was hoping for a lot of other games up to this level.

I can only hope that devs are working on them right now.

The iPhone4, again, has done the iPad no real favours in this regard as it's splits developers priorities.

Which platform are they going to focus on, different screen res and different hardware.

I have a really cool game idea (which im building a game document for) for the iPad which I hope to devlope. I'm a Video games Artist Uni student... I can do all the art work my disadvantage is coding... Simply cant do it...

it really bugs me too because no one has done this sort of idea yet and it will work VERY well on the iPad (but perhaps even better on the iPhone 4 due to the gyroscope)

But I would love to develop it for the iPad ....

I know this doesnt help the thread... im just venting off frustration. Any coders around? contact me! (it would be paid)

Please don't insult Angry Birds or Flight Control. They help me go to sleep every night.

Thanks.

I think we won't see an influx of new/higher resolution apps until August the earliest. There's no rush, the platforms are still growing and new users are discovering apps that we have all had for months.

I have flight control and love it but I really don't get angry birds - I've looked at the screenshots several times and nothing has compelled me to buy it yet.

Plants versus Zombies is one of the greatest games ever, and I include Manic Miner in that !

Out of all the games I have, I find the most challenging game is Tesla and I play it more then any other game that I have!

Try it out you may find it enjoyable and challenging! It may seem simple at first but I can assure you it's not! ;)

I agree with the op. Aside from a few nice driving games, the iPad is massively unfulfilled as a gaming platform.
