Animation Software for Kids

well this is pretty cheap considering its free and works on pretty much any system. but i don't know about how easy it is. i haven't worked with it much but from just playing around it looks like you might have a learning curve. i think you can get tutorials though and you could learn it and then teach your kids. it could be like a bonding thing maybe.

He is now 14. He is very bright and does excellent animation in ToonBoom. He would like to transition to Blender. The problem is the tutorials and the program don't match up in a huge number of ways and the interface is awkward.
