After my MBP 13" mid 2010 has been sleeping for over a day, the changing desktop animation and mission control gets choppy. Only a reboot fixes this problem and it stays good until several hours. I already reset SMC but it didn't work.

Are you also experiencing this issue and how can I fix it?

Thanks!

Yeah mine is pretty choppy too at times. Like right now. You could always disable the mission control animation, link. And to change space animation you have to use keyboard shortcuts Click, i think there may be another way to speed it up, you'll have to google that yourself.

Thats great advice but I actually like the speed of the animation. Its just that they stutter (chop) from time to time. Basically, its not butter smooth after the MBP has been on for a day.

I guess the only way for a fix is to tell :apple::

All right. Just so you know, you can change the animation speed so it's more like the default but i find it doesn't remove the lag, so your kinda screwed here.

Guess you'll just have to get used to the change or deal with the lag. Apple does this on purpose, they like for you to have a slow computer just so you can upgrade.

Sorry I couldn't be more of help.
