Hey all I have an iPhone XR- 128GB - iOS 12.1.4. Animoji’s / Memojis fail to send. I found a fix by resetting network settings, then it works... For about 10 minutes! I asked at the Apple Store “Never heard of that before.” Wondering if anyone has dealt with this issue and what is the solution?

Update: Now simply restarting the phone also gets it to work for a few minutes, then no go. I tried using Wi-Fi only, then cellular. Makes no difference.

Thanks everyone

You should be grateful it's busted. I know your recipients are

So while I agree, sometimes I text my kid and screw around adding profanity to the characters (gotta love a cartoon unicorn shouting the F-bomb). I don’t wanna miss out on payback when I receive first!

I would probably try disabling iMessage, restarting the device, then enabling iMessage again.
