Anker has kicked off its big New Year's sale, which is set to run through January 15. This sale includes notable discounts on portable chargers, USB-C hubs, cables, and more.

Note: MacRumors is an affiliate partner with Anker. When you click a link and make a purchase, we may receive a small payment, which helps us keep the site running.

There are a few bonus offers during this event as well, including a deal where if you buy two products you can get an additional 20 percent off, or buy three for 25 percent off. Of course, if you just want to purchase one accessory, there are plenty of solo discounts you can find in the sale.

Finally, it's worth noting that MacRumors readers can still get 20 percent off Anker accessories through the end of the year. Anker's current New Year's event beats this discount most of the time, but if you find a product not on sale it will be worth entering our code at checkout.

In order to get this deal, head to Anker's website and add an accessory to your cart, then enter the code akmacrumors20ch at checkout to see the discount. Our exclusive 20 percent off code works on most accessories sitewide, including Anker's new line of MagSafe-compatible products. Our code does not stack with any existing offers, including the holiday deals.

Prime Chargers

Power Banks

The fact that Anker is always holding a sale should tell you how marked up their products typically are.

Meh, a lot of companies do this, look at Samsung. If you need something immediately, you probably end up paying full price, if you can wait it is pretty easy to get a deal. For a company like Anker, running a sale is like advertising, they rotate a few products at a time and get "advertising" for the brand at places like MR, the fact that you noticed proves the point.

This applies to Apple products too, right?

Third party sellers have brand new Apple products on sale, often before they are even released

...and that's sale pricing from sellers who still have to pay Apple their cut!

The 10,000 mAh Fusion Power Bank has a built-in Lightning connector...shouldn't all of those be in a landfill now that the EU has decreed that Apple abandon Lightning in the interest of saving the environment?
The EU requires a USB-C connector, it doesn’t forbid to have other connectors in addition. Furthermore, devices with integrated wall charger like this one probably aren’t even required to feature a USB-C connector.

And just why do you think this would be benefical to Anker?? Are you aware of Anker's financials? It seems like so many people here make "recommendations" that have no visible basis for that recommendation. Just saying...
I was jesting.

Imagine how much battery and chip space would be lost if Apple included two data/charge connectors. Might as well demand a 3.5mm jack, as well. The EU ruined Apple's mobile devices, and Apple let it happen.

Then Tim needs more than 1 factory making iPhones, and multiple wearhouses to store them.
Quick question: what is a "wearhouse?" I think I know a lot more about using iPhones even than a lot of the engineers do. I look around and see all the beautiful lights and icons. Nobody knows what they do. They said "press that one, and maybe this one," and I said, "let's press all of them," but nobody listened.

A wearhouse is a homonym for warehouse, when using speech to text, the computer doesn't know which word you mean.

Great points. I'd just add that a "few" of us here still have a lightning cable or ten lying around.

I’m tempted to buy the power core reserve with the $40 off coupon, which will be perfect when we take the 14 hour drive to FL this summer.
