I started working on this thing way back in August, and I'm finally going to release it in the next few days (hopefully tomorrow morning, but we'll see). It's a web-based 3D first-person RPG. My goal when I started making it was to push Mobile Safari as hard as I possibly could, and I think I pulled it off pretty well.

Anyway, here's the site where it'll be hosted. The site right now has a description of the game, the instructions, and some preview screenshots.

Please let me know what you think.

This looks cool, is it gonna be on installerapp? I will definitly download this thing, keep up the good work man.

That's really cool. Takes me back to Wizardry VI: Bane of the Cosmic Forge, my favorite game of all time. Thanks for coding this. *back to exploring*

If I may make a suggestion, though, I think having the appearance of "tiles" really would help me navigate easier. I keep turning and staring directly at walls instead of going around corners because I can't quite judge how large each "area" is. If that makes sense.

*goes up a level* :D

Very glad to hear that people seem to be enjoying it ^_^.

Somewhat offhand, but did you know that the first time Peter Jackson saw the final cut of The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King was during its premier? I just finished my first playthrough of the final game, and I did it after releasing it.

In case anybody cares, it took me an hour to beat on Safari on my iMac, and I knew exactly everything to do to win as fast as possible (I've only been playing it for months on end). So, I would estimate that playing it on an iPhone or iPod touch would take me about twice as long, just because they're so much slower than a desktop machine. Solving the two major puzzles has taken people an additional combined thirty minutes or so, so I'm guessing that the game will offer about two and a half hours playtime to a first-time player on an iPhone or iPod touch. Not bad for a free web-game.
