iPhone Annoying Banner Ads at top of web pages

You know those banner ads at the top of websites that advertise that site's app in the App Store? Is there any way you can have them NOT appear if you already have the app installed? For example, if you go to ign.com in safari, at the top you see the banner ad telling you they have an app in App Store. This appears even if I already have the app installed. On top of that, no matter how many times I click on the "X" button to close it, the ad always reappears. Too bad it didn't just save that to cache so it would at least remain hidden for a little while.

Is there a tweak or some other trick so that those go away? Ideally the behavior I want is for them to only appear when I don't have the app installed. But if I had to disable them altogether I'm ok with that too.

Just wondering if anyone knows of a solution. No big deal if not. It's a minor request. I know its pretty silly too. It's just something that I've been finding annoying lately. Thanks.
 
I don't think there is anything for this, short of the webdesigner coding it into their site HTML. I assume that would be a vulnerability though as the code would have to access your iPhone to determine what apps are installed and then render your desired outcome.

The other approach is no ads at all, which is not what you want. It seems to be an all or nothing kind of situation.

Dam, I don't have Flex. If that's the only solution, well I've been looking for a reason to buy Flex haha! Maybe if I buy Flex I can ditch Springtomize. I guess I'll wait it out and think about it. Thanks bro!

Yea I was thinking along these lines as well. It's not a typical ad though, per se. I block all ads and those are the only ones that popup on websites. So I don't think they're treated like regular ads. I could be wrong though.

Not-So-Smart from Cydia. It gets rid of the smart banner ads all together.

Smart App Banners! That's what they're called. Man I couldn't remember what apple called them. I knew they weren't the traditional ad but I would have never remembered smart app banner.

No problem, I hated them popping up in youtube or some tech sites I visit. The tweak works perfectly!
