Annoying blue lines in Notes

Notes seems to have a ”feature” that flags words it can’t “read” by putting a blue squiggly line under it. My handwriting is a mess and when I’m writing I now have a sea of blue lines…

Anyone know how to turn this off? Happy to file a bug report if there’s no way to disable this…

Same struggle, and it completely ruins the enjoyment of just writing away in Notes. Hope for a toggle to appear in the release version.

Bumping this. Is there any way to disable this? It is very distracting. My handwriting is a mess. I don’t want to see anything but what I write when taking notes.

Nope, it's been this way since the iPadOS 18 beta. I've just stopped using Apple Notes because of it.
