Annoying bug!

I can't be the only one who has this problem but whenever I turn my phone off *intermittently my phone once resumed will be in a landscape view even though I'm holding it horizontally! This bug is so annoying it won't even change sometimes. I have to literally move it back and forth before it finally realizes it and switched over. I noticed this on iOS 8 but I decided to put this on iOS 9 beta as I have the latest public beta on my 6+. I even filed an issue against it. Just wondering if anyone else has this issue.

Yep and I've reported it with every beta release. It was in ios8 until an update shortly after fixed it

I still have this issue after a new phone and a new OS.

Known issue, my bug from 8.4 was marked as a duplicate of probably a duplicate of a duplicate. known issue, not hardware but software.

I asked some of my friend but nobody had this issue. Weird.
