These bugs happened with iOS 9 as well as now 10.
  • If I send three iMessages to someone, and they have their read receipts turned on, it says that all three were read. Then a few hours later, when I return to that message thread, it just says the first two were read and the third is still sitting at "Delivered." If I switch to my MacBook Pro, it says that all three were read.
  • In my Notification Center, if I have four unread messages, for example, I can view them for a limited amount of time in the NC, and then they disappear somewhere along the way. 30 minutes after I checked NC the first time, all of my Messages notifications have disappeared, even though I haven't actually opened the messages.
  • If I want to "Clear" an email notification from NC, it sometimes won't. It's about 50% won't, 50% will.
If I have any others, I will post them here. Do any of these happen to you guys? I just restored from an iTunes Backup to my brand new 7, but I was thinking about doing a completely clean install and starting fresh. Do you think that would fix these bugs?

The 3 message read receipts I'll have to keep my eye on. I've never noticed.

It's a no to the other ⅔. Neither in iOS 9 or 10. My messages stay in NC until I interact with them. Literally for days on end.

The only problem I've ever had with clearing notifications was in iOS9 on my iPad because I let them pile up too long and they took forever to clear sometimes because they would get processed one-by-one. iOS 10 fixed that with clear all.

I haven't had the same specific bugs you have listed, but i have had numerous NC bugs including:

Being unable to click on a notification (having to restart)

Incorrect notification sounds.

Hopefully this is fixed in the next update

I appreciate both of your responses! I definitely hope that these are fixed sometime soon. But, considering everyone that I personally know and you two don't have the same bugs as me, would it be worth a shot to completely wipe my iPhone and start from scratch? Do you think that would help/fix anything?

It might, but it's probably not worth it. The chances are slim if at all.
I think the disappearing notifications can be attributed to your having received the same message on another device, and perhaps you had the messages app open on the Mac.

If I were you I would run the settings>general>reset>reset all settings before trying a restore. That will help with kooky issues that sometimes appear esp after restoring a backup from a previous iOS version. That also keeps all your apps and data intact. You will have to set your wallpaper and any wifi networks back and run through the settings to set up like you want but otherwise your data stays intact. Also its pretty quick to do.

That's definitely a possibility, that didn't even occur to me. It really bothers me because I utilize my Notification Center for just about everything and hate when there is a notification that is NOT showing in the Center.

I had forgotten about that! Thank you so much! Hopefully that fixes things (at least temporarily).

I am resetting all settings currently. I will give an update soon on if any of the bugs are fixed.

The most annoying one is when you try and reply to a message from the lock screen, then unlock and open the message in the specific app and the keyboard bar gets stuck there. Needs a reset to get rid of the at from all windows

Also when playing podcasts, it sometimes takes 3 presses to unpause.
