I only use my AirPods Max with my Mac Mini, however my iPhone picks it up and detects it which I don't want as it means the battery indicator widget shows the battery life for both my iPhone and the AirPods Max, but doesn't show the more useful battery percentage (just an indicator).
I also get annoying notifications from 'Find My' whenever I leave my home telling me that I have left my AirPods Max behind.
Essentially, I just want to use my AirPods Max with my Mac Mini and that's it. However, I'd like to be able to use Find My when I want/need to in order to locate them.
If I unpair the AirPods Max from my iPhone, it also unpairs them from ALL my other Apple devices. Even if I turn off Bluetooth, the iPhone still shows the APMs in the battery indicator widget.
So what I'd like to know is:
1. How can I just have my AirPods Max connected/paired with my Mac Mini and never my iPhone?
2. How can I turn off those annoying 'Find My' notifications, but still be able to use Find My on demand if I need to find them?
Thanks
