An annoying message has been appearing on my iPad3 over the past three or four days. "A problem occurred with this web page so it was reloaded."

Any thoughts about what is happening and/or how to get rid of the issue?

Clearing the history out may help. When I was still using my iPad 3, I put it down to RAM issues, but a relative is now using it without as many problems.

It was wiped and then set up on their Apple ID, but try the history before going as far as to wipe it and set it up again.

My iPad Air was doing this on Apple’s own website. My guess is also RAM issues as the complex video rendering and layers was really making it feel “pushed”.

In fairness, a full wipe and minimal app installs likely means more free RAM. I also force close all other background apps so Safari has more available to use.

However, some webpages are just too heavy for 1GB RAM iPads particularly those with lotsa JavaScript. There's really not much that can be done. If the site still crashes after minimizing RAM usage, I reckon only options are to either switch to mobile version of site if one exists or upgrade the iPad.
