I've been complaining for ages about an annoying Navigon bug, finally it bit me.
For those of us who use 24 hour time on our iphone, Navigon doesn't properly display arrival times. For example, if I leave my house at 17:00 and go on a 30 min route, it will show the arrival time as 5:30, rather than 17:30 like it should.
I've complained before in another forum and the people said "well it should be obvious which is meant."
Well a few months ago, I was flying to Knoxville. Before leaving home I had pre-programmed the destination into navigon and then exited the program.
After landing in Knoxville, I got into the rental car, powered up Navigon and because I had already entered the destination before, it began to route me toward my hotel.
I left the airport around 18:00 and Navigon told me an ETA of around 6:24. I thought... great! Then started dutifully following the directions. Well, I drove from the airport to downtown Knoxville, then past downtown Knoxville, when all of a sudden I realize the GPS is telling me to follow the highway up towards Lexington!
It was now 18:35 and my ETA still said 6:24. Well.. I then realized that Navigon had reverted to "HOME" as the destination. Had they fixed the stupid error in displaying ETAs the wrong destination would have been instantly obvious to me. Instead I got an extra special tour of Knoxville.
