annoying popup tabs on Chrome

Ι can't get rid of some tabs that show up on the upper right hand side of the screen from specific sites. Im running Chrome Version 68.0.3440.106 if its any help. I thought that a popup blocker would save the situation so i installed PoperBlocker but still those tabs come up... and thy are very annoying!
 
On secpnd thought those popups must be notifications from sites that ask you if you allow notifications or not... i guess i must of allowed them and not blocked them. Is there a way to change this setting?
