IMO, Apple will not reveal a MacPro 7,1 until Kaby Lake CPUs appropriate for the TDP and I/O requirements of the cylindrical form factor are available in quantity. Until then, we wait - or go over to the dark side...
AppleTV is overdue for a UHD/4K upgrade, perhaps that will still happen before years end - but if so, I would have expected an announcement today.
I realize the iPhone is Apple's cash cow, but the smart phone market is unlikely to see the kind of growth going forward that it has enjoyed the last 10 years. Slower replacement cycles, cheaper competing smart phones that offer 90% of what the iPhone does and current models already having all the features/power most users need. If I were Tim Cook, I'd be furiously developing class leading products across the spectrum from MacPro to AppleTV to smooth out the balance sheet (read stock price) as iPhone revenues slip.
Mac laptops are still very competitive, earning their premium pricing with a premium product. That said, they are getting a bit long in the tooth and products like the HP Spectre offer a legitimate alternative in many ways. I fully grasp why Apple is focused on i Devices - huge sales and profits - but from the outside it sure seems like they could keep driving hard on that front and push forward on the rest of their product line at the same time. They certainly have the organizational capacity and financial resources...
