After going in today with my iPad 3G due to yellow screen issues and for some reason the brightness was higher than any other iPad (the apple employee actually found the brightness issue I hadn't noticed until it was compared)

I have my new model which seems as if the yellow has come back and iv also got a stuck black pixel right in the middle of the screen....

Do you think I will be able to again ask for another swap due to this? Or do you think they I'll think I'm just messing them around? Because if I pay £600 for something I want it to be perfect...

Yes. But I would do some extensive screen testing of the next one while at the store. Play with it for 20-30 minutes.

im just worried they are gonna get annoyed with me for this... (I also have been invited to a hiring event at the same store in a couple of weeks and I dont want them to think gah theres that guy coming in making a fuss about the ipad screens)

I just took 2 photos of my screen when it has a black image on it and take a look at this... surely this isnt right?

That is potentially fine. It depends. Are you at full brightness in the dark? If so, IPS panels tend to "glow" like that.

Are you dead straight when taking the photos? In the dark, with a black screen, my IPS LED 27" iMac has the worst what-appears-to-be light bleed when you're sitting off to the side of it, but it's just that IPS panels are terrible with blacks, off angle.

Im taking them head on, When im using it in the dark I can see the light bleed in a corner allot.

Simple solution then. Take it back and get another. That is NOT acceptable light bleed.

Even though im in the 14 days return period can they deny swapping me another? since I only just got this one today (well yesterday now) because of screen issues previously...

That right side light bleed is a mothersucker. They need to step up their qual control. Both my iPads had lite light bleed on the right. Not enough to tingle my nerves, but its their.

I had a real bright pixel on one that didn't show on a all black screen. It was showing up on lite color backgrounds, apps and movies.
