Best Buy has their Video iPods on sale this week. This is fairly significant since Best Buy makes zero profit on iPod sales due to their partnership agreement with Apple. They only make profit off the accessories.

For Best Buy to have a sale on Video iPods means only one thing: They are trying to clean out their stock because a newer model is coming.

While I know this doesn't directly relate to new iMacs coming soon, it does indicate that new Video iPods are coming very soon. And, most of the rumors lately keep saying new Video iPods *and* new iMacs are going to be announced at the same time.

They don't make ZERO dollars on an iPod. If that was the case they are idiots. I used to work for radioshack so i could see what our "wholesale" price was. A $249 ipod would cost us about $230. We basically made nothing, not it was something.

How much on sale are the ipods at Best Buy?
