i ripped a dvd (old school to be specific) to my computer. how do i watch it on the computer now?

its in the video_ts folder.

thanks

I managed that bit alright.
Now if I wanted to burn it to a dvd I'd use Toast, right?
But what if the file is 7gb and I only have the dvd-r burner that came with my iMac? Is the only way I can burn a copy by getting an external dvd burner in a larger format?

so i got popcorn. but when i drag a video_ts folder into it, it crashes. is this my computer or b/c the video_ts is encrypted or something?

I'll take a gander and say you are running Tiger, and pirated Popcorn, and therefore need to get an update, which you cannot do without buying Popcorn.

If you did buy Popcorn. Then download the update.
Once you have run a DVD through Mactheripper there is no copy protection.

Also, you should only be doing this with DVD's you own. These programs are for archival purposes.

It's a blockbuster rental b/c i bought it pre-viewed (cheaper). And the software isn't pirated, but is older, not for Tiger, so that answers that. I just never got aroundt o updating it. Thanks for the help though.

Yup np,
