so is anyone else annoyed that if you want to download a single picture, iPhoto automatically creates a new "Roll of film" for that single picture?

how could I simple import it into a library without creating ANOTHER roll? I find this aggrivating now that I have some 50 rolls....

and why can I not easily just put this single pic in another roll?

yeah, that would work, though it would still create new rolls.... which ultimatly is what I do not want.... I would like to be able to delete a roll after I move a picture into it....

uggg...

Yeah, I'm thoroughly annoyed at that too.

If I take photos of say a birthday and the fall leaves down a country lane, I would like to split the rolls.

Plus, if you have iPhoto show the rolls and leave them collapsed, it uses much less memory when you launch it because it doesn't have to create thumbnails of all of your photos. Even with 768MB of RAM in my iMac, iPhoto is still sluggish.

that's a good trick, though my TiBook really has no problems with sluggishness (1ghz of Ram), I'll do that though

Yeah, I think it is my iMac. Impressive machine, but it could be a bit faster. I can't complain, because it does what I ask of it, and without crashing.
