So for several months I've been dealing with the same battery issues as a lot of others. The battery may drain really fast, it may jump from 80-30, it may shut off at 30, etc. I've called Apple 3 times and went into the store once. They say my batter is "above line" and it is a "software issue". They recommended I start from scratch and set up as a new phone (huge pain) and still no fix. After reading a bunch of threads about this I decided to go ahead and get a new battery as others have said it fixed their issue. I went to a "reputable" non-Apple repair shop and had the battery switched out. I am still having the same issues. Even with a new battery I am draining like crazy or I will be fine, then all of the sudden it will go to 2% or whatever. Does anyone know of anything else I can try? The genius just wanted me to "upgrade" of course and they offer no other help. I'm of the opinion that a $750 phone should last a bit more than 2 years and if it is a "software issue" as they say, shouldn't they be the ones to fix that since I have no control over the software?
Any help or advice is appreciated.
