I was playing with some Quicktime content on the Internet when I noticed that the Camino browser (I use the 1.0a1 version) is able to save Quicktime movies! Just go to View > View Page Source, find the URL of your movie (<embed src="movie.mov">), and paste that into a new window. Then just go to File > Save As and presto! you're done. I don't know if this is common for all non-Safari browsers.

PS. Don't report it to the Bugzilla... this is a feature!

You can do the exact same thing with Safari, Firefox, and even Internet Explorer. You can do it with almost every browser. Just go to "view" and look for "source" (or anything similar). This will open a window with the page source just like in Camino.

I use camino anyway, but the feature you dexcribe can definatly be done with any browser.........You can just right click on the movie and click on save target as and choose a directory and hey presto,
