Still deciding between ip8 plus vs ip8&ipad, and if latter, which ipad - new mini, old 10.5 pro...

I have ip7 base before I had ip6s plus...
My needs are basic, web/youtube/apple music/photos. And i simoly cant decide, i really like ip 8 plus display but it is cumberstone in the field (great on the sofa), i kniw that ipad would be awesome but it seems like wasted miney for me, maybe mini would be fine for that sofa surfing... i dont knooow (i had mini2 and used to like it)... oh and i just biught myself new camera and dont kniw if i have any idea how to make it work with my ios setup

I like my mini 4 for surfing and watching stuff that is just really background noise so the mini 5 might be good for you. Its big enough to beat the phones size but like you said, you would save money by not buying a bigger ipad.
