Is there setting that will allow you to answer an incoming call on a Iphone 5s by pressing an actual button such as the home button? I am an older user who has poor circulation in my hands and in cold weather I cannot get the screen to recognize my touch to swipe the bar on the screen to answer a call. Very frustrating. Any help would be much appreciated.

Truthfully, I looked at it, but I'm not sure it would really address my issue, and it has a lot of things that I don't need. The cost of the app is around $10 and I don't think I will buy it not knowing if it will help or not. I'm getting the impression that that's just the way an Iphone works, and not that many people complain so I just need to deal with it. I love the Iphone and I won't be switching to another brand of phone just because of this issue.

I don't think it's really just the iPhone but most touchscreen smartphones. Some might offer additional customization and/or accessibility options beyond what iPhone/iOS might offer though.

Not ideal but, you could use it with the Apple supplied headphones. You should be able to click the in-line remote to answer the call. Will have to listen/talk through headphones though unless you unplug it after answering.

Also, most bluetooth earpieces/headsets, even the really cheap ones, allow answering calls with the click of a button. Same situation as plug-in headphones, though...you have to be using the earpiece.

There are ways to use buttons/switches to answer the iPhone if the device is jailbroken but I'd never recommend jailbreaking to anyone.

Temperatures below freezing are out of the iPhone's acceptable range so it may not be your fingers: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201678

I really do appreciate all of the suggestions and comments that I have received. You know, I will probably just deal with it. I really am not in to wearing a headset or earpiece, and it doesn't happen all that often. It's just kind of frustrating when it does and you are swiping, swiping, and trying to answer the call and can't.

Have you tried looking through the accessibility settings? I don't have my phone on me so I can't check at the moment but I'd be surprised if there wasn't something there than can help you.

But I really do it well with CallController, anyway, maybe it's just my type. Thanks.
I've been trying to find this app for my iphone with no success. Is CallController the name of the app, or something else? Thanks.
