Hi,

I would like to write to the support email address from a website where I am registered with a "Hide My Email" address from iCloud and get regular emails from a no-reply address.

But I can't change the address and also the CC field does not work.

How can I contact this service with my registered address if not by simply replying to one of their mails and changing their no-reply address to a support address?

The only way I found is writing a new mail to the support and use a different then new created anonymous address. That's better than using my main address but why can't I just use the same one they use to contact me?

Many websites use addresses where the support is not reachable with answering to an email they sent.

Am I overlooking anything here?

Does this maybe work in other apps than Apple Mail?

Good question that I have looked around and can’t find an answer to. A similar situation is when, after registering with a hide my email address and they send you a ‘click here to verify your email’ email, what is sent or revealed when you ‘click here’?

Sorry I overlooked your post. I think those verifications don't expose anything, it's just for them to know if the email has arrived. Often there is also the option just to enter a code instead of clicking the link.
