I received an important (and expected) business call yesterday. I put in my earbuds, made sure they were recognized by my phone, but when the call came, I no longer saw the answering option menu, which I very much needed. Is there a way to toggle it on, so I can answer via iPhone, Speaker, or Earbuds (they're not Apple, by the way). It's worked in the past, but seemingly no longer.

It disappears if you disable "reply with message" in the FaceID Settings.

I don't see the connection between the two functions.

I use MFi hearing aids, and with those I just “answer.” I’d expect earphones to be the default if connected?
