Ant in my iPod

Yeah you read right thats not a typo. A sugar ant managed to get into my iPod through the headphone jack and is not dead curled up resting of my screen. So I took it to the Austin Apple Store to see if they could just pop it open to take it out since its still under warranty. Well to my surprise they said that they weren't able to do that work there or at all for that matter. Told me to look online for ways to open up my iPod but I dont want to void my warranty so I was wondering what everyone thinks I should do. THANKS!

That kind of stinks, but I suppose ants wouldn't be covered under warranty. The instructions out on the battery sellers' sites should work well enough, just be careful and take your time.

And what is it with ants and Apple hardware this year?

i use to have a little bug in my game boy... the original game boy. so link would going across the screen and so would the bug... it was funny but it pissed me off at the same time
