I was wondering if anyone had used anti-reflective (not anti-glare or matte) screen protectors for their 14 or 16 inch Macbook Pro and had any thoughts? I had initially used one that I got on Amazon but ended up taking it off after a few weeks due to noticeably increased reflections so that I had to use the screen at ~25% increased brightness to reach the same readability.

Yes I understand it decreases the space between keyboard and the screen and could cause it to rub on the screen protector. I just think even then, it's much easier to replace a screen protector every few months than to replace the screen due to wear. Coming from a 2013 Macbook Pro 13 with the space bar permanently etched into the screen I'd rather try to avoid that again.

Thanks!

I am using this one (below), it works fine, I think the newer MacBook Pro's have a wider gap between the screen and the keyboard, you can check that with you finger, the lip on the edges (sides and top) of the display is very deep, even after having the screen protector installed, and the keyboard is flush with the top case.

I was hoping for a clear option instead of a matte one. The light diffusion on a matte screen is nice for reflection, but it does make things look less clear to me unfortunately.

They sell the clear option as well, look for it

Found some on their website, only $10 for 3 of them so placed an order to see how they look!

I have been using them for many of my devices (MacBook, iPad, etc.), very happy with their quality, I always buy them at Amazon because it is a free next day shipping.
