I have got an Antique White Sport Band as a present yesterday, but I am not sure if it suits well my SS. I have found online a guy who would like to exchange with me for a white one, so could you please tell me your thoughts as which one would you choose because I'm so undecided. :(

In daylight it has some nice light creamy color, but at night it's kind of dark yellowish shade. Maybe a stone or white would be better.

:)

I am uploading some photos of the white one that you guys posted from the "show off your watch topic" just for the reference:

Thank you!

I would prefer the Antique as it looks very nice with the "classy" SS. White might be better on a Sport.

But...IMHO discussing colors (for all kinds of objects) is a very personal matter and to much feedback will make the decision only tougher ;)

I also prefer the antique white for daily wear, but as the previous poster noted this is totally a matter of personal taste. It doesn't matter what we like...we are not the ones to wear it!

If you trade with someone online, make sure you confirm that the white band is authentic before exchanging anything...

Yes, white one would be definitely more appealing than antique on SBSS.

You PM'd me about my Stone band. Here's photos I took when I got it. The color will appear different in different colored lighting and what colors it's next to just to alert you on that. As you can probably tell from these photos (first 2 taken inside with incandescent lighting overhead; second set outside in morning daylight, overcast morning daylight and in shadow of car in morning daylight), sometimes it's taupe-like and others times maybe more grayish. Not sure if this helps or confuses! (larger photo if you click on the photo)

BTW I have both the Stone and White that I wear with my SS AW. Like them both although the Stone can look close to the White. At one time I considered the Walnut for more of a brown color but it looked warmer than the Stone and I have more cooler pallet colored clothes I think so stuck with the Stone. If you want more photos PM me again and I'll post more here.

As for the watch second hand color, I think the first two used White and the outdoor ones I switched to Stone. Nice to be able to pick and choose.

OK took another comparison for you with my SS and a White and Stone band on it--daylight indoors no additional lighting source. Taken against Apple White iPP cover BTW. Your Antique White band definitely has a yellowish component to it. I'd say which band color should depend on what you will be wearing with it. You want some contrast in color but still coordinating.

I have Milanese and Classic Buckle for more "dressier" look when wearing shirts in the evening and sort. I want/wanted a band I can wear with pastel coloured polos which I tend to wear throughout the day in spring/summer, but the Black sport band my AW came with isn't just the color which matches with them. Antique sure is a gift, but kind of "ordered" one :) , and I have never seen it in person before. Wanted some kind of "dirty", more subtle white, not "pop" white as the White one is. Now as I got it, it differs from Apple's website by wide margin. It has some gold undertone in the evening or indoor lightning. It definitely suits best Gold Sport AW. But, in daylight it's actually "creamy" and more I look at it with SS, more I'm starting to like it. That's why I have decided to keep it.

On the other hand, seeing from your pictures, Stone is pretty great. :) Looks very elegant for a sport band. It's more muted down from Antique White, has nice outdoors tone and definitely will buy it if March event does not come up with something better!

Thanks again!

I have white on my SS. One thing I figured out, the Mr. Clean Eraser cleans the band up very nicely.
