Ok, I'm a first-time poster on this site so please excuse if the thread seems amatuer-ish.
So basically I really want to jailbreak, but I'm afriad of the whole "voids your warranty" deal with apple. I have Ziphone downloaded right now, version 2.5c (the latest), and I noticed the "refurbish" tab. I've been researching and so far nobody has been too clear with me about how to, if its possible, reset my iphone 100% (clear of hacks, software locked again, switch flipped back) so that i would be able to pass it off at an apple store seemingly innocently if my unit were to become damaged and in need of repair under warranty. I have heard primarily this method: 1) restore to 1.1.4 through iTunes (which i am currently running) 2) refurbish with Ziphone 2.5c and 3) enjoy my newfound innocence. If anyone could confirm or deny this method or perhaps provide an account of a successful 100% restore/refurbish, I would greatly appreciate the time you've taken to help.
-Thank you

I was as nervous as you on Monday when I finally decided to Jailbreak my phone, but it was so easy to do, and theres so much more functionality on the phone now.

I highly recommend you do it
