Since they are both no longer updated, is there any alternative to these add ons?
I used them mainly to be able to download video clips and block flash content.
Thanks

Clicktoplugin has been having some issues. I still would like to use something that will be updated along with the OS

Nope.
I mainly use it to download clips from toutube, etc.
I have found some other programs online but I don't know how good they are, if they are safe, and if they screw up system resources at all.

You can use dedicated downloaders for websites like YouTube, like ClipGrab or (if you like Terminal) youtube-dl. Many websites work without Flash, when you change the user agent to iPhone or iPad.

It unfortunately shouldn't take this.

Let's all face it--Flash SUCKS. It's time for it to die a horrendous death.

Flash does suck, I wish everyone would just switch to html5 and include the ability to download clips without having to install anything.
I'm surprised the app store doesn't have anything that allows clip downloads. The guy who makes clicktoflash says he stopped upgrading the product because of Apple's developer policies.
I'll look into ClipGrab, there are others I found and researching but I don't want to screw up my system with bad programs

Nothing that worked well unfortunately so I'm back to clicktoflash even though it won't be updated

The latest Mac OS X 10.12 beta breaks ClicktoPlugin. I use it as I prefer the native video player to YouTubes player, regardless of it being Flash or HTML 5. Anyone have any fixes or suggested alternative plugins?? Thanks.
