Any Apple watch waterproof case good for surfing?

Is there any good waterproof case for the Apple watch that I could wear while surfing on the ocean that can protect the Apple watch from water getting in? I searched on the web and don't find any.
And, will the Apple watch work if it is too far from the iphone? I am asking this silly question because I don't own an iwatch yet and don't know how it connects to the internet if I am in the water.

I will be more worry about sand, salt, debris, and bump into anything other than water.
It is tested by several people you could swim in pool with it, search utube, you will find some video.
I would get a heavy duty case like Spigen Rugged Armor with screen protector, and use Rubber watch band. It should be good to protect AW on bumping into something, and wash with warm water carefully asap on the same day to get rid of sand, salt and debris.
I could tell you unless you wash your watch asap, long term exposure with salt and sand are not good for any watch, waterproof or not. I windsurf before, and a cheap Timex is only watch I would used in salt water for extensive use.

I would never wear an iWatch in the ocean. Put it into a safe deposit box right away. Those are very rare and might even be valuable one day. I forget...who makes the iWatch? Not Apple.

I found this Lunatik case: http://www.coolhunting.com/link/lunatik-waterproof-apple-watch. When you go to their web, it doesnt specify it is waterproof.

It is rated at 165ft, and they mention it is suitable for surfing.

Oh, didn't catch that,
Thought it said suitable for those things, not avoid them lol. I've taken mine in the pool a few times without any case, and it's been fine. Of course surfing is totally different.
