Hi,

I'm looking at purchasing a used 1 TB 14" M3 Pro MBP. Checked the coverage on the s/n on Apple's site and it says valid until December 2026.

Has anyone had issues with AC+ warranty transfer (assuming I'm able to register the product under my Apple account)?

In the past, Apple did not care and honored the extended warranty as a second owner. I'm wondering if they've gotten more stingy/persnickety about it.

Thanks.

AppleCare+ will be honored.

The risk is, the original owner could call in & cancel it for a pro-rated refund. You just have to “trust” that they won’t &#$* you over.

Thanks for the replies. It was pawned so, unlikely AC+ was cancelled.

At nearly 40% off of retail it was an offer I could not refuse. Sure will be a heck of an upgrade from 2020 i5 13" MBP!

All I can say is WOW. AC+ is still on there through the end of 2026.

Objects (dings on the outer surfaces) appeared much larger in photos than when viewing with eyeballs LOL

Compared to 2020 i5 13.3", M3 14.2" 18 GB/1TB is a quantum leap (speakers are much better, keyboard a lil firmer, display++, ...).
